(Click image for a larger view) | Aircraft Ducting "CAT" type flexible hot or cold air ducting is made of a single ply black neoprene-impregnated fiberglass with a spiral copper coated steel wire inside and wrapped with fiberglass cord on the outside. Sold by the foot.
Features: Extremely lightweight and highly flexible. Short lengths can be joined together to form a continuous length.
Applications: Suitable for conveying fumes and air at temperatures ranging from -65°F to +350°F. Not recommended for handling liquids or highly abrasive materials, or for negative pressure applications.
Diameters not listed are available as a special order in full lengths only. Order CAT 2-3/4" diameter for Whisperflow air vents. Full factory lengths are 10 ft. on CAT and CEET and 12 ft. on SCAT & SCEET. |
