| The function of the Ventilo spinner is to reduce the temperature of the engine, mainly in dynamic phase (air flow from the advance of the aircraft).
Made entirely in carbon fiber, the DUC Ventilo spinner is available in 08.3" or 09.8".
It has been studied and developed to improve engine cooling. Its apertures are made by CNC machining center for precision and flawless finish.
Adaptable to any type of engine generating a slight overheating regardless of its direction of rotation (Rotax, Continental, Limbach...), it is oriented for use on 4-stroke engines.
In two-bladed or three-bladed version, openings are present on the spinner and on its mounting plate. This design allows the circulation of air flow of aircraft advancement through the spinner, evacuated from the back of the mounting plate, without disrupting the regular operation and effectiveness of it.
The mounting plate, entirely out of carbon, thickness 0.12" (3mm), is produced with the Carbon ForgeŽ process, also used for the manufacture of the DUC propeller hubs.
This patented process makes it possible to increase considerably the mechanical characterestics of the composite parts. |
