It has the same look and similar size as the successful transceiver AR 4201. The mounting behind the panel is as simple as for the AR 4201. The sunlight readable display is illuminated for night operations. The display shows in addition to the transponder code also the current flight level, if an encoding altimeter is connected and Mode-C is selected. Despite the small size, the operation is simple and straight forward.
