The new KLN35A is a standalone GPS identical to the KLX135A except without the COMM transceiver. The KLN-35A provides accurate satellite navigation capability with moving map displays for increased situational awareness. It features Jeppesen NavData for data base updates via 3.5 inch diskette. The moving map display shows flight plan waypoints, navaids, and special use airspace, and the KLN-35A has an enhanced, high contrast LCD display for optimum readability.
