| The SEPTA is a fully functional touch screen GPS with the real estate to show full size approach plates, with the aircraft position clearly shown on the plate. The SEPTA is a complete standalone GPS, no programs to install, no operating system to learn, and no waiting for it to boot up.
Nothing is brighter than the SEPTA. The display is the brightest in the industry, there isn't a GPS available with a brighter screen. Ordinary Tablet computers are not optimized for use in the bright light of an aircraft cockpit and are typically only a fraction as bright. Other portable GPS units are typically 30 to 50 percent as bright as the SEPTA.
The SEPTA is a full featured GPS system, packed with the features that people love about Anywhere Map, like high resolution terrain, Geo-Referenced Charts, Cones of Safety, Emergency landing mode, Extensive VNAV, online updating, rich surface features, 100LL.com fuel prices, approach plates, sectional charts, low/high enroute charts and much more. Like all Anywhere Map products, it includes a suite of virtual instruments that can overlay the map, including an HSI, Turn rate, Rate of Climb, heading and speed, and virtual glideslope.
The SEPTA is housed in a rubberized case with convenient grips, an elegant and rugged docking connector and a removable / replaceable battery. Screen brightness is controlled by two pushbuttons, up and down. All other controls are via the big bright and beautiful touch screen. |
