(Click image for a larger view) | The AV-545 is an ADF Sense antenna supplied with "Government Approved" self-gripping jaws and a stainless steel small diameter low drag tension device for reliable installation.
The unit is also supplied with 23 ft. of type 6370-2 copperweld polycovered antenna wire for minimum stretching, mounting bracket and hardware, rubber pad and ASA insulator with feed-thru. The antenna is designed to operate at speeds up to 350 mph and altitudes up to 50,000 ft. It has a drag force of 0.75 lb @ 250 mph.
