FLIGHT DISPLAY SYSTEMS IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Flight Display Systems FD151CV-LP Low Profile (LP) series of displays are specifically designed to be mounted directly to the exterior of the aircraft bulkhead or behind a wall where space is at a premium. The smaller enclosure simply gives more installation flexibility. It is the perfect unit when the 10.4 inch display is too small and the 20 inch is too big. The primary item that distinguishes the Low Profile display is the thickness of the enclosure (1.1 inch vs. 1.75 inches). The LCD display is ¼ inches from the top of the enclosure, greatly increasing the possible height of the display when mounted on a bulkhead.

Uses the same display as our FD151CV-IR. High quality VGA picture for graphics and our Flight Display Moving Map. LCD is crystal clear with our industry leading brightness. Great for watching DVD movies in flight. With three input sources, you could install a DVD player, a Flight Display Cockpit Camera and our Flight Display Moving Map in your aircraft. Your passengers have the option of switching between movies, the camera or checking our Flight Display Moving Map to see aircraft route of flight. Easy to use buttons on the display let you switch video inputs, or you can use the included IR remote. The system includes a remote for changing the video source, or you can order our RF Remote and control everything in the cabin with a single wireless remote. Only 1.1” thick means that the display can be mounted on many bulkheads where the depth of the display can cause a clearance problem with the seats. LCD within ¼ inch of the top of the enclosure allows the display to be mounted in more locations. There are six mounting holes located on the back of the LCD display. These six attachment points are all that is necessary to mount the display on a bulkhead. The LCD is protected with a .06” Lexan non-glare lens. The purpose of the lens is to prevent scratching of the LCD and to reduce glare in direct sunlight. The FD151CV-LP can be connected to existing video switching in the aircraft.
