FLIGHTECH ITC-2003-ENRI-2

FlightTech Intercoms introduces the next generation of Panel Mount Intercom, the ITC-2003-ENRI "Remote". Using the latest in Enhanced Noise Reduction circuitry along with innovations in electronic control, the ITC-2003-ENRI features a unique design, a small panel control unit and a remote intercom unit. The small control panel consisting of a Volume control and a Pilot/All switch measures only 1" wide x 1.3" deep and 1.0" high. No longer is there a problem with space behind the instrument panel or mounting in a hard to reach location. The second part, the intercom unit is only 4.6" x 3.1" x 1.7" and includes mounting tabs. Because D.C. switching is used between the panel control and the intercom, the mounting location is not critical. Simply mount the intercom unit in an easy to reach location, run cables to the headphone jacks, power and a small five conductor cable to the panel control unit. The Enhanced Noise Reduction feature is a feature exclusive to FlightTech Intercoms and allows for quiet communications without the background noise common to Voice Operated or Squelch controlled intercom. ENRI is not to be confused with Auto-Squelch found on some other intercoms. With ENRI, the microphones are active at all times, ENRI monitors the background noise and eliminates it, allowing only the headset's user's voice to pass. To speed the installation, pre-assembled cables are available for two and four place aircraft. The cable assemblies are fabricated using MIL Spec 22759 and 27500 Tefzelwire wire and cable. Cable ends are un-terminated and labeled for proper identification.
