The ITC-401-23 combined with the new ICOM A-23 and A5 radios, makes for a totally portable communications package. Featuring a cable and special "ICOM" plug, the ITC-401-23 plugs directly into the A-23/5, eliminating the headphone adaptor. For the new Vertex/Yaesu portable radios, the ITC-401-Y is ready to plug in and start communicating featuring a single cable and the Yeasu/Vertex three circuit plug. Note: the three circuit plug for the ICOM and Yaesu are the same type but not interchangeable circuit wise
