(Click image for a larger view) | GRT recognizes that most flying is not hard IFR . Not every pilot needs the Horizon HX redundancy and features. With this in mind we set out to design a system built on our legacy Sport’s success, the Sport SX, for experimental and lightsport aircraft. The Sport SX is designed to provide a low-cost EFIS (electronic flight information system) with room for growth and expansion with optional ARINC-429, faster processor, vertical autopilot commands, shaded color map, and synthetic vision. Yes, synthetic vision. The Sport SX with synthetic vision has 10 miles forward visibility, shaded color mapping, and terrain collision warning. Standard Sport SX unit comes with 4 serial ports and two power inputs. |

Low speed version is 35-290 mph indicated
High speed version is 50-600 mph indicated.
- Altimeter: -1000 to +35,000 feet. Meets IFR accuracy requirements.
- Magnetic Heading: <5 degrees error – gyro-stabilized
- Current draw: < 1 amp
