| Icom IC-A200 transceivers are extremely compact, measuring
only 1.3" high by 10.7" deep. All 760 communications channels are instantly
available, and the unit is intercom compatible. A large tuning knob and
a minimum of switches and controls are designed for one-hand operation.
There are 9 memory channels for storing ATIS, ground, tower and other commonly
used frequencies. The bold LCD display shows USE and STANDBY frequencies
simultaneously in rich black against a gold backlit field. The displays
wide viewing angle allows it to be read from any point in the cabin. The
backlight dims for nighttime operation. Squelch is automatic. IC-A200 is
for use in homebuilt aircraft.
The IC-A200/100 is TSOd for use in certified
aircraft and boasts the same great features that made the IC-A200 the industry standard for non-certified and experimental aircraft alike. And now you will be able to get everything you had ever wished for from Icom in a certified radio. An easy to read backlit display and buttons make night operation a breeze. Illumination dims and brightens in synchronicity with the airplane's panel. Operation is not an issue with the IC-A200/100's flip-flop button and 9-memory channels. Simply select a frequency in the 'STBY' window and flip it into the 'USE' window for quick and easy transmit. A powerful 7 watts of transmit power all but ensures you will reliably complete communications. Other features include remote control capability, memory protection and intercom function (when wired for intercom).
