LYNX RELAI SYSTEM HEADSET
 
The Relai System headset is designed specifically for use in very high noise environments where wind noise may also be a problem. The headset is intended for use with hand-portable radios and can be configured to work with various types of radio by changing a small plug-in module. The headset is noise attenuating and provides hearing protection in noise levels up to 110dB(A). For maximum performance the headset is fitted with a specially developed electret noise canceling microphone. The microphone is sensitive to speech but rejects extraneous background noise to produce clear radio transmissions while speaking normally. The microphone is mounted in a rubber anti-shock holder and is protected by a foam wind shield that can be removed easily for cleaning or replacement. The headset speakers are housed in acoustically balanced enclosures which seal the headset against moisture and also allow the ear-cups to be cleaned hygienically. The headset includes a built-in volume control and two Push-To-Transmit switches. A connector is also provided to allow an additional Push-To-Transmit switch to be connected. All Lynx headsets are fitted with Silicone Gel ear seals and are fully adjustable. Headset weight 550 grams.
