 | Containing in excess of 1 million business listings for the U.S. and Canada and thousands of marine related points, MapSource Points of Interest allows the transfer of data by region and category directly to your compatible Garmin GPS. The MapSource interface provides a background map on the computer and customers can then select point of interest by category and region. After downloading, the points are displayed on the GPS. Address, phone & description may also be displayed for applicable points of interest.
Specifically designed for use with these Garmin products: eTrex Venture, eTrex Mariner, GPS 76, & GPS 152. The MapSource Points of Interest CD-Rom may also be used with any MapSource compatible Garmin GPS product. As with all MapSource products, Point of Interest also offers trip and waypoint management functions, which allow users to transfer waypoints, routes and tracks between a PC and Garmin GPS system.
