Pilot PA17-79 DNC XL Headset

The Pilot PA17-79 DNC XL headset provides 25dB passive and 18-22dB active noise reduction. Fitted with a NiMH re- chargeable battery, the self-contained Independence can give the user 35-50 hrs. of use on a full charge. Wall charg- er with an LED light is supplied with the headset along with a comm cord, all packaged in a padded case. DSP circuitry results in crystal clear communications and enhanced in- telligibility. The PA17-79 has a mono/stereo selector switch and right and left ear volume adjustments. Wt. 14.8 oz.

A panel mount version of the PA17-79 is also available. The PA17-79TP/XLP weighs 9.9 oz (280.7 grams). The PA17-79TP/XLP comes with a panel plug and can also be used with a 9V battery pack (included) allowing the unit to be portable and used in various aircraft.
