With larger and larger MFD/PFD's, homebuilders and LSA manufacturers are finding it harder to install the traditional rack and stack radios. The PAR100EX completely eliminates the need for a stand alone radio. The small 4 X 4 X 2 inch remote mounted radio can be mounted anywhere. The audio panel includes their highly acclaimed audiophile stereo intercom (4 places) and has their IntelliVox®, an automatic VOX that has been working flawlessly since 1997. They also enhanced IntelliVox® so it will accommodate even the noisiest of cockpits, including some open cockpits.
They have made PAR100EX very easy to use. The left knob controls the intercom and music volume, the right knob controls frequency selection and volume and squelch for their remote mounted radio.
They also have taken advantage of their 5 years of experience in Bluetooth® technology that their first introduced into audio panels with their PMA9000EX. Now you can pair any phone or Bluetooth® enable audio device.
For homebuilders and LSA owners who are on the fence about selecting an intercom or audio panel, the decision has just gotten easier.
Now you can have it all, even if you need only one radio. The PAR100EX which will satisfy all of your intercom, switched and unswitched audio, entertainment, and a Com Radio needs now and be capable of accommodating a second radio later.
The PAR100EX has fully independent power supplies so you can power up the radio or audio panel individually, or together. And if you have a Navigator/Com, you can use it as Com 1 and use their remote radio as Com 2.
The PAR100EX uses the same tray and connector as the GMA240, GMA340, PMA8000 series. However, there is additional wiring that is required to interface the Com Radio to the audio panel.
