No other avionics touches as much of the flight experience
as the audio selector panel/intercom combination. PS Engineerings Audio
Panels set industry standards for utility with features every pilot will
love. The basic PMA6000 audio panel has a split mode, for dual transmit
capability, and includes a 6-place intercom, with individual squelch circuts
and dual music imputs. The PMA6000M has a 3-light marker beacon receiver.
Stereo versions are available, the PMA6000S and PMA6000MS. Three communication
transceiver capability is possible with the PMA6000 "C" units, which is
helpful for pilots who add a GPS Comm to their existing dual stack.
All PMA6000-series offer dual music inputs with PS
Engineerings SoftMute function. Stereo units offer Karoake mode, for uninterruped
music listening and sing-along.
The monaural PMA6000 units have separate volume and
squelch controls for precise adjustment with varying headsets. The stereo
units have a simplified control, thanks to the improvements in stereo
headsets.
The all-stereo PMA7000-series has the same features
as the PMA6000S, but adds the advanced technology in IntelliVox TM, the
worlds first fully automatic intercom squelch. No adjustment is necessary,
just speak and individual processors will direct your voice to the headsets.
IntelliVox TM simplifies intercom operation for the pilot and passengers.
In addition, the PMA7000-series offers two independent
music outputs (so the passengers will always have their separate music
input, regardless of intercom mode) and PS Engineerings exclusive telecommunication
distribution system, which allows easy interface to aviation-approved
systems like AirCell. The PMA7000 is expandable to 12 places, using an
expansion unit (additional cost). The PMA7000M-S includes a Marker Beacon
reciever, with marker mute.
The PMA6000-series and PMA7000-series are TSO approved
in the US and many other nations. These units are available with, and
without a silver trim ring at no extra charge, to match any other avionics.
Both are easily backward compatible with the KMA24, for easy retrofit.
