Tactical Pilot Awareness Display (t·Pad™
800)
The t·Pad™ 800
is an 8.4" diagonal color touch screen (no stylus required)
attached to a sleek, curved aluminum base that fits comfortably
around the pilots leg. The touch screen, which is sunlight readable,
is connected to an interface box that links to a laptop computer,
allowing pilots to experience the advantages of electronic flight-bag
technology at a fraction of the expected cost. Both the interface
box and the laptop can be stored discreetly behind the seat.
The t·Pad™ 800 is
powered by a plug-in 12v connection to the cigarette lighter
available on most small planes.
With the t·Pad™ 800,
pilots can use all of the most advanced Windows-based aviation
software such as:
