Softcomm Intercoms for Ultralights

These Softcomm Intercoms are specially designed to operate with today's transceivers in mind. The ATC-2I models are full featured intercoms with "record-in" and "record-out", a PTT switch mounted in the face place and a "AUX power" input for using aircraft power instead of the 9 VDC battery(S), Listen to CB's, CD players & AM/FM radios while in flight. Features music "MUTE" circuit, volume control and "squelch" adjustment. Housed in a rugged ABS case with a space for two batteries, these intercoms are compact and fully portable. The SOFT COMM Belly-Pack (BP) Intercoms are enclosed in an all- weather, fully adjustable, belt "pouch" to fit most persons comfortably. The Belly-Pack permits hands-free "VOX" communications with passengers in enclosed cockpits. It has a convenient coil cord PTT to attach to the yoke or stick to key most 720 channel transceivers and another coil cord w/ connector attaches to the radio. These Belly- Pack models also include a CB coil cable to monitor some CB's andscanners with a 3.5 mm output. The Belly-Pack is powered by two 9 VDC batteries and should last a minimum of 60 flight hours. A convenient pocket in the Belly-Pack can house walkmans, CD players or storage. A free audio cable is supplied and has a 3-year warranty. The special model C-40P headset is designed for ultralight applications. Many very noisy Ultralights are too loud for VOX operations during take-off, will overcome the squelch setting and leave the mic(s) "open". The C-40P allow the squelch to be turned off during these times and pressing the PTT in-dome switch allows for communications during these times.
