| When they planned their trip to Alaska, they encountered a startling lack of visual information for much of the state, in particular those areas less travelled and less well known. The prospect of flying in Alaska can be intimidating when your imagination is forced to fill in the blanks. Exactly how big are the mountains, rivers and glaciers? How bad does the weather get? Is an emergency landing a death sentence? If we camp out will we end up as bear lunch? One look at the map and you'll see that they covered alot of ground. At a minimun, the video will give you an accurate visual picture of what it is like to fly in much of Alaska. During 5 weeks of mostly great weather they made a lazy clockwise loop around the state, stopping for a few hours or a few days along the way. They hiked, backpacked, kayaked, fished and stalked big game with their cameras. Every day offered up something new and fascinating and in the end .... they wished it would never end.
