(Click image for a larger view)		Description: Epoxy Topcoat is a two component catalyst cure epoxy polyamide which meets, and exceeds, MIL-PRF-22750E&F; Type 1. This system cures to an extremely hard, impervious film which resists yellowing and chalking. The Epoxy Topcoat provides the ultimate protection and gives a high quality finished appearance to metal, wood, and most other materials capable of being coated. This coating is intended specifically for interior application to improve longevity and provide durability.

  • PTI’s Epoxy Topcoat is a two component product, comp A is the paint and comp B is the catalyst. The Epoxy Topcoat has a 2:1 mix ratio by volume. Comp A and B need to be stirred of mixed thoroughly before mixing them together. Once mixed this product can be reduced with the PT-1003 TY II reducer blend. No more than 10% reducer should be added to this product. PTI’s Epoxy Topcoat can be applied by spraying, rolling or brushing. However, to achieve the best results PTI recommends that you spray using an HVLP or pressure feed system using a cross spray technique. Refer to the manufactures technical data before using this product. Do not spray any other products while spraying the Epoxy Topcoat to avoid contamination. Mix only what can be used in a 4 hour period.
  • This product is available in any gloss range and in every color from the 595C Federal Color standard. Custom color matching, glosses and colors not listed with Aircraft Spruce are available upon request. Gloss ranges include: Flat, Stealth (satin), Semi Gloss and Gloss.
