CESSNA TYPE FIBERGLASS BATTERY BOX

This is an extremely strong, lightweight and durable Battery Box. It is constructed of oven-cured fire retardant high-temp epoxy resin and fiberglass. The box is sealed inside and outside with a green epoxy fire retardant chemical resistant Military/Aerospace Primer Coating. It is then resealed inside with black FAA Approved Acid-Proof Battery Box paint. This Battery Box is nearly identical in dimension to the 12-volt Box used in the 1963-1977 Cessna C180/182/185. The Cover is designed to easily accommodate the Gill G35 and the Concorde RG35A/ RG35AXC, CB35A/CB35AXC Batteries. The Battery Box comes completely assembled with a Stainless Steel Drain and Snap Action Latches. It also comes with two each .050 Aluminum Shim Strips to assist in mounting the assembly. Note: This Battery Box is currently "Non-TSO" and will require an FAA approval for use on certified aircraft.
