(Click image for a larger view) | The DVM 828 is a self contrained digital voltage monitor that keeps a close eye on the overall health of the aircrafts battery and charging system. Installation is made simple by using the aircrafts exsisting cigarette lighter connector found in most airplanes.
By way of highly accurate voltage regulators, the DVM 828 recieves its power from the aircraft, no additional batteries are needed. By operating the on board microcontroller and drivers with voltage levels at or below 5 volts allows the unit to measure the aircrafts battery and charging system with accuracy to the nearest tenth of a volt. The DVM 828 uses three discrete Blue 7 Segment displays with a height of .375-Inchesfor easy viewing. The DVM 828 automatically shifts between 12 volts and 24 volts systems. No battery needed. |
