MISSING LINK VACUUM PUMP DRIVE SYSTEM

The "MISSIN LINK" Vacuum pump drive system for Volkswagen Airplane Engines, has over 100 hours on the test stand. At some fly-ins the unit has ran over 8 hours without stopping. At this point we have not had any sign of break down on the system or the Vacuum pump. We are using a RAPCO 211CC vacuum pump sold by AIRCRAFT SPRUCE and supplied to the inventors of the system by Rapco at no charge to do the test. In order to use the vacuum system you will have to change to an electric ignition system. Many systems are on the market single as well as dual. The electric ignition fires a 35.000 spark gap, this gives one a better fuel burn.
