ZircoFlex™ is a flexible ceramic heat shield material that offers superb thermal barrier performance at minimal weight and minimal thickness.

Supplied as thin aluminum backed foil, ZircoFlex™ is lightweight at only 460g/m(2) and only 0.25mm thick. ZircoFlex™ foil is however robust and easy to handle. It can be cut and installed by hand or machine, and is easily fixed in place using mechanical fasteners or high temperature adhesives, allowing it to be integrated directly into conventional production or maintenance operations. Each piece is 900mm x 550mm, 35.4" x 21.5".

Simple to fit
While they are close-packed to provide comprehensive heat protection, this structure allows the foil to be bent and manipulated to suit different geometries, and it can even be folded tightly through 180 degree without damaging the thermal barrier.

Suitable for many applications
ZircoFlex™ foil may be used in a range of applications where the foil can be used to protect sensitive components from heat as a rapid solution to thermal protection problems.

Flexible - ZircoFlexTM is easily bent and manipulated to suit different geometries, and can even be folded tightly through 180o without damaging the thermal barrier.
Lightweight - ZircoFlexTM weighs only 0.46kg/m2.
Extremely thin (0.25mm overall) needing only minimal space for installation
Aluminium backed, so the material is robust and easy to handle.
Easily cut and installed by hand or machine.
Easily fixed in place using mechanical fasteners or high temperature adhesives (these are supplied separately by Zircotec).
Easily stored - ZircoFlexTM foil is supplied in the form of a roll.
