(Click image for a larger view) | The EGT-100 is a color EGT instrument that provides real-time display of each
cylinder, in either automatic (hottest cylinder), timed step mode or single selected
cylinder. These instruments are available four and six cylinder configurations.
Instruments with a “V” suffix contain a full function voltmeter on an additional
display screen, selectable using the control switch.
Exhaust gas temperature functionality is TSO'd and meets the temperature
accuracy requirements of SAE AS8005 for a Class IIa (+/- 1%) instrument. The
STC applies to 699 different aircraft models. These instruments and kits are
certified as primary replacement instruments.
Functional displays include:
- Hottest cylinder selects the hottest cylinder at any given time
- Step mode sequentially scans all cylinders at a 5 second scan rate
- Single cylinder mode allows one specific cylinder to be monitored
- The optional voltmeter screen displays the bus voltage
- Intensity control is via the front panel control switch or external intensity
