IK-2000 AIRCRAFT INFORMATION MONITOR

Aircraft Spruce announces a breakthrough in instrumentation that will allow you, the experimental airplane builder/pilot, to enjoy all the benefits of a state-of-the-art multifunction flight & engine monitoring system ­ at a fraction of the cost of similar systems currently available. Six independent microprocessors are used to acquire, measure and display data in the I-K 2000, ensuring continued instrument operation in the unlikely event of a processor or power-supply failure. This monitor was built with reliability in mind. Multiple displays can be used in a single aircraft. Ideal for tandem airplanes such as Vari-EZ, Long-EZ, Berkut, etc. For experimental aircraft only. These devices are not presently STC-ed or PMA-ed. May be possible to install in certificated aircraft with FAA 337 field approval.

All readouts presented in a uniform, quick-scan bar graph format. Super bright LED Bargraphs and Vacuum Fluorescent Digital Display/Annunciator Panel. Reliable, rugged and maintainable ­ with built-in redundancy. Digital information panel for precise flight and engine data. Available in 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder configurations. Split-screen design allows for flexibility in mounting.

Specifications

The IK2000 is designed specifically to fit into a standard radio rack, although it may be panel-mounted as well. The LCD Display Module measures 6.25" wide x 2.5" high x 1.8" deep for either 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder engines. The Bargraph Module is 6.25" wide x 2.5" high x 1.6" deep for a 4-cylinder engine, or 6.25" wide x 3.0" high x 1.8" deep for a 6-cylinder engine. The total weight of the IK2000, including the Data Acquisition Module (usually mounted behind the panel), is less than 3 lbs.
