(Click image for a larger view) | The real facts are that most all aviation accidents are due to fuel problems. Fuel management is a must when doing any Cross Country Flying. The TT-1 Tank Timer System allows the pilot to monitor and manage the aircrafts fuel flow for quantity and balance.
After powered up, the TT-1 goes into a left tank count down of 30 minutes. A left tank Red LED will flash about every second reminding the pilot that the left tank is being time out. After 30 minutes the Red LED will flash longer and faster accompanied by a tone that can be sent to the headphones alerting the pilot to change tanks. By pushing the right tank button restarts the systems to the right tanks 30 minute count down operation. Here again, a right Green LED will flash about every second reminding the pilot that the right tank is being timed out. After 30 minutes the Green LED will flash longer and faster with a different tone to the headphones. |
