We are pleased to introduce the latest version of the popular RCA2600 Series Digital Attitude Indicator. We have made several enhancements; most notably the new compact design - only 1.5 inches deep! Inside, we have added a faster processor and increased its resistance to high vibration.
The 3-inch RCA2600-3 and the 2-inch RCA2600-2 are designed to look and react like a gyro instrument without the clutter of extra data. The RCA2600 is FAA certified and is perfect for replacing your primary AI or adding as a backup in whatever you fly!

Works great for the design purpose, and then some. Came in a very low time Top Cub that I bought. Couldn't figure out why someone would put an A/I in a Super Cub,,,but oh well. It just so happens that a fairly well known f-16 pilot started my T/W endorsement and advanced bush training. During unusual attitude recovery training this unit became extremely handy in determining precise pitch attitudes to exceed any standard gyro with no tumbling effects. Did I mention unusual attitude recovery??? Very Very unusual attitude recovery??????? I have great confidence that if caught in cloud, this little gem will tell me the truth. Buy it now if you even thinking about it. BTW, in the last 7 months have never had to reset or re-zero the unit even 1 time. The set up on my light dimmer matches my other equipment very well, giving a balanced look in the evenings and nights. I give it 5 stars.
What does 0, 8, and custom tilt mean? Thanks
You can check your aircraft owner’s manual or contact the aircraft manufacturer to determine if your aircraft’s panel is tilted (pitched foreward from 90 degrees). Most panels are flat, 0 degree tilt, but some need the 8 degree or a custom angle to read correctly in level flight. The custom angle version is special order and non-cancellable, non-returnable. My aircraft was certified with an electric gyro. What documentation is needed to replace it with this unit? Does anything need to be filed with the FAA?
A logbook entry is required but as with avionics installation please check with your installer as they will determine if any paper work needs to be submitted. Even though a product is TSO'd 337 may still need to be done.
