Self-contained unit that operates on 2 internal 9V transistor radio batteries. Power required is 9 milliamps at any volt- age from 7­24 volts. No external connections are required. The instrument features both a 600 FPM & 1500 FPM scale
the 600 FPM scale being ideal for ultralights. A switch on the front face permits switching to either scale(the vario response rate or time constant is normally about 2 secs). Housed in a standard 3-1/8" aircraft instrument case, 4-1/4" long. Also available in 2-1/4" Size.

MODEL M19e

Model 19e Vario-Altimeter Flight Deck is a complete flight instrument in 1package. Excellent for hang gliders, para- gliders and ultralights. The M19e is in a compact housing made of tough RF shielded polycarbonate plastic. A 9 volt battery mounts on the side of the unit. The heart of the Flight Deck is a temp. & altitude compensated silicon pressure transducer that measures altitude and vertical airspeed. The M19e maintains flight totals for 23 flights.
Memory includes:
*Highest rate of climb *Highest rate of sink *Flight duration *Highest absolute altitude (MSL) *Highest altitude over launch.
