Most of the aircraft flying today were designed years ago, in a time when pilots did not wear headsets. The stall and gear warning horns were installed in the cockpit. Today all pilots wear headsets, including the ANR headsets designed to cockpit noises, making it difficult to hear warning sounds. Voice Alert is designed to solve this problem...The system hooks to the existing aircraft stall horn, and gear horn if retractable. Whenever the existing aircraft horns sounds, the pilot will also hear an instantly recognizable voice warning directly in his headset. Separate voice messages are used for both stall and gear warnings. The Voice Alert is STC-PMA approved and comes as a complete kit for easy installation. One system works in both fixed gear and retractable gear aircraft.
