From the first days of aviation, Goodyear has been a part of the constant progress in the air. As early as 1909, the Wright brothers were using Goodyear products on their planes, and today thousands of aircraft trust Goodyear under their wing everyday.

2009 marks Goodyear's 100th year of constant innovation and contribution to the aviation industry. From the fabric and tires used on the Wright Flyers, to the manufacture the Corsair FG-1 Fighter aircraft during WWII, or our most recent innovation, the Aluminum Core Bead, Goodyear's rich heritage in aviation has no equal.

To commemorate this milestone, we have created a special edition 2009 Wall Calendar. This unique edition celebrates Goodyear's many firsts and other unique contributions made to the aviation industry over the past 100 years.

This year's calendar is BIG. Literally. To get a hundred years worth of innovation onto one wall calendar, we had to "double it". While it's just as tall as previous calendars (25 inches), it's twice as wide (52 inches).
