Designed for the cockpit as a Certified Class 2 Electronic Flight Bag The t•BagC2 has been developed as a Class 2 EFB System­a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) computer and display system designed for use in an aircraft. Although classified as a portable electronic device, the t•BagC2 is an integrated EFB system for use in all phases of flight operations. The system's components are designed to be attached to the aircraft by way of certified installation kits, and connected to the aircraft power and data ports during normal operation and use. With dual independent installation of t•BagC2 systems, corporate and commercial operators can reap the benefits of Electronic Flight Bag technology­getting out of paper and into digital. Now, you can realize all the power and convenience of the most sophisticated EFB software applications available today…and to come. It’s what’s inside that counts The heart of the t•BagC2 system is the “portable” CPU module. Inside is a rugged Windows XP computer that provides the means to run virtually all available aviation software. The CPU module also contains the t•BagC2’s emergency battery back-up power pack and 10-30VDC power supply. With its unique slide-in mounting rails, the CPU module can be quickly and easily removed and replaced from the sealed cradle if necessary. This design also allows the ability to upgrade the computer in the future (as technology changes) without having to replace the entire installation like a Tablet PC. A standard connector at the sealed cradle allows for hardwire installation of the t•BagC2 into the aircraft electrical and data buss (where available).
