The iPad Undermount Stowaway is for the Pilot that wants to use iPad technology in the cockpit but has little or no panel space to mount the unit without a total panel redesign. The iPad Stowaway will stow the iPad just below the panel and it can be pulled out for use and then pushed back under the panel when not needed, such as flight time when critical information is not needed from the iPad .
The stowaway has a hood option that when not in use, lays down on top of the iPad and stows under the panel with the iPad . The iPad tray slides under the panel on nylon guides that have zero clearance and have adjustable resistance, thus this unit is free of any kind of slop that may cause rattle.
