Unlike ordinary hole cutters, Unibit Carbide Hole Cutters cut without hogging, chattering, or vibrating. The aggressive carbide cutting edge holds sharpness for long life. Use them to cut clean, perfectly round holes through steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass,copper, and many other materials. No center punch is required, and the double ended pilot drill allows for longevity and durability. Shank size on Hole Cutters 3/4" through 1-1/16" is 3/8", and on cutters 1-1/8" to 1-3/8" shank size is 1/2".
