New Stewart Warner fuel quantity transmitters have not been available for over 20 years, but McFarlane now has new FAA-PMA approved direct replacements for originally installed Stewart Warner type transmitters.
crew/seal assemblies are used to attach the fuel transmitter to the aircraft's fuel tanks. The seals are a special Viton rubber Stat-O-Seal that do not degrade or swell with avgas and are built into a special stainless steel washer.
The gasket is used under the fuel quantity transmitter, generally with the rubber bladder type tanks. McFarlane gaskets are made of Viton rubber for longer life.
