True to the claim! I did notice a difference. The engine does feel a little smoother since less vibration is transmitted to the cowl. It is very slick on one side. The only thing that is a negative is it doesnt conform to compound curves quite as well as regular silicone cowl seal. For this reason, you might want to use the Cowl Saver seal on the sides of the engine along the valve covers and straighter areas and silicone if the baffling has severe compound curves.

Q: How is this material applied? Do I need to order an adhesive? If yes, what is needed? Or is it self-adhesive?
This is baffle seal material and can be attached using a few types of fasteners. Refer to your aircraft maintenance manual for installation instructions. Rivets are commonly used, but a variety of screws and nuts can also be used.
Q: Is the Cowl Saver material color grey on both sides?
