The 9X9 StrutWipe uses a biodegradable 100% cotton, lint and static free wipe. The green version of StrutWipe uses a biodegradable pharmaceutical grade cotton wipe that cleans down to 5 microns particles without any binders, starch, or foreign materials making these the best choice for cleaning and lubricating chrome piston cylinders, hydraulic struts, aluminum propeller, and drive chains. The cloth finish gives StrutWipe a softer and better dirt-trapping capacity that is pre-soaked with hydraulic fluid MIL-PRF-5606 and has incredible retention to eliminate fluid drip. Protect yourself and personnel from hazardous hydraulic fluid until use with the three layer lamination foil packaging that eliminates vapor exposure emitted by hydraulic fluid. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment when working with hazardous material. No stink, no mess, and due to its resealable packaging, StrutWipe can be used multiple times until time to discard. StrutWipe is engineered for aircraft but can be used in multiple applications. |

Bought one of these per my A&Ps recommendation. Works as advertised. Zip lock allows for multiple uses. Great for cleaning the chrome struts. So far, I have about ten flights out of it and works well on removing the exhaust soot off the cowling as well.
