You always have what I am looking for.
As above, it was about a two month wait for the one US quart size container. One wonders if there is not much of a market for small volume containers or alternatively, there is a large market? From a previous purchase, I was now aware of the new designer paint job Shell implemented on the fifties era metal can. Since Shell bottles the fluid for the automobile market in resealable containers, why can they not just repaint a few of the those containers? I do not buy into the idea of absorbing moisture, as if so, then the brake fluid reservoir sitting on the firewall is also a problem.
Product as expected but was on backorder for 2 months.
Shell has changed the paint job on the outside of the metal oil can again. I thought I had ordered the wrong stuff. Again, per numerous previous comments, the one US quart container should be a plastic resealable engine oil type container. I assume brake fluid does not eat up plastic.
the price is competitive to all internet sales, Amazon sells this type of hydraulic fluid of the same volume for ~$40.
As described. Was a substitute for Mercedes hydraulic fluid. Too bad the container isn’t resealable but that’s on Shell… Did a triple-flush of hydraulic system to get 13 year old fluid out. This is nice fluid.
Since when did Hyd fluid gallon containers become non-re-sealable? For a small shop working on GA airplanes, this is not acceptable! Now, I have to transfer the fluid out of this old fashion beer can, that you need a pointed bottle cap opener to actually open and buy an empty 1 gallon steel can to put it in so, it won’t become contaminated between uses. What a terrible idea Aeroshell!!!
Got this as substitute for AC Delco Auto Liftgate Hydraulic Fluid. Worked great, just wish the can was resealable. Only needed about 8 oz. This fluid is used on GMC Terrain, Cadillac CRX, Chevrolet Traverse and BMW. AC Delco rebrands Aeroshell 41.
I ordered several cans of AEROSHELL 41. The order process was straightforward, the website was easy to navigate, there was email confirmation, the product arrived in a timely fashion and it was very well packed. It was just an all around great transaction.
Shipped it fast, and was exactly as shown. Used it im my BMW and it worked great. I also wished it was in a plastic resealable jug, since I only needed about half a cup, but this is kind of old school cool! Thanks!
