This handy chart planner and organizer holds NOS or Jeppesen approach plates, SIDs and STARs, and airport diagrams. Features easy to load static-hold chart protectors, and fits yoke clips and keenboards. Contains a wealth of important reference information relating to IFR departure, enroute, approach, and alternates. |
As a pilot who have yet to purchase an iPad and an EFB (Foreflight), this is a way better alternative to organizing my approach plates than trying to fumble through the page pages of the the bulky and unwieldy TPP (Terminal Procedures Publication) book while in-flight.
Despite ever improving charting apps, I continue to prefer to operate IFR with paper charts ready to use on demand. The IFR Flight File is excellent in organizing your SID/STAR/IAPs for those of us needing information at the ready in a confined cockpit. When you need a paper chart, you dont have time to search for it. Nothing I have used has worked better than IFR Flight File.
