This web site is oriented towards the motorglider community, a niche within aviation that I believe is gaining momentum. With the advent ofLSA category of light aircraft, it has allowed these planes to be factory built and also to be available for training, making this form of flight available to more pilots and aspiring pilots. No longer are these aircraft heavy and underpowered. With the use of modern materials, such as carbon fiber and lightweight powerful powe which provides a superior craft having good soaring capabilities, and also a superb rate of climb and efficient cruising abilities. |
