Cessna 170 & 172 spinner kit. Includes front backplate attached directly to spinner. Used with McCauley propeller Model DM or MDM with Continental 0300, A and B engines. Rear 8-hole backplate included. Replaces Cessna P/N 0550162-7 and backplate P/N 0550162-3. Diameter 9-1/2", Height 13". |

Eligibility
- Cessna 170B S/N 25373 & up, 172 S/N 2800 thru 46754
- Will only work with a prop extension because the flange turns toward the cowling & the prop will hit the cowling.
- Attached back plate has 8 holes - uses a 10-32 screw to attach the rear back plate to spinner - inside hub attach point is 3-3/4" across and 1-1/4" Deep
- The spinner can be polished if customer wants to spend some time on it. They are spun on a machine when they are made which leaves fine lines in the aluminum.

This comes with a PMA tag. It is approved for the Cessna 170B S/N 25373 and up and 172 S/N 28000 thru 46754.
The nut plates are included but the screws are not.
You should not need to drill or machine, it is ready for install.
