Note: Clip and strap only. Kneeboard or tablet not included.
The MyBigKneeboard is a tablet and iPhone kneeboard for use with almost any tablet or smartphone with dimensions from 3 inches (7.5 cm) to 12 inches (30 cm) and a thickness (including case) up to .95 inches. This is the product to choose if you want to keep your tablet in your everyday case when flying or if you are using an armored case such as the Otterbox® or Lifeproof® case.
This design allows the plastic clips to be adjusted to accommodate may different size tablets and phaplets. Clips can hold a Galaxy Note in portrait mode all the way up to an full size iPad in the landscape mode. With this kind of versatility upgrading your tablet will not require a change of kneeboard.
I really like it! It fits comfortably around my thigh, stays secure, and I can monitor without occuping my hands away from the yoke.
Works well with or without the case for my Samsung.
Works as advertised. Simple, adapts to most tablets and secure. We use the apple pencil to write our notes which means no pen marks on the interior from our crews.
Keep it simple. Simple device that works just fine. Clever idea. Maybe there is one cons. This Big kneeboard is really designed for thick devices. Small devices like your smartphone has to be installed horizontally.
Arrived rapidly and appears to do what it says it should. The IPAD mini 4 stays put on the ground. Will test it in flight later this week. I think it will be OK.
Works as advertised. Even with a 1 inch thick protective cover on my iPad Air 2.
This product weighs only 1/4 lb.
The difference between the two is P/N# 13-16550, you are able to clip on your device with the case still on. When using P/N# 13-16535, you would not be able to. You would have to take the case off your device to attach it to the MyClip Kneeboard, P/N# 13-16535.
This clip does not rotate, but it does stretch to allow you to use the iPad in both portrait and landscape modes.
Yes, this is the updated version, and it is ordered under manufacturer part # MBK-02.
