Reviews

This is a very nice stamped part with excellent finishing. I needed the headset jack holes plus two stereo jacks for Music In and Audio Recorder out. This was the perfect solution over bending up one from sheet stock. The flanges were just a bit narrow for me, but I was still able to fit 6-32 pan head screws to mount it.

My main complaint with this is that the angle between the surface that holds the headset jacks and the back surface of this part is less than 90 degrees. This causes the headset plugs to hit the back surface making them difficult to install and remove. Secondly the exterior surface should be wider which would make it easier to secure. Other than that, its a great invention.

Q: What type of cable is acceptable to run to the jacks in this housing? Should it have Tefzel insulation? Thank you
