It does the job. The Tiger I just bought came with the same kind of tow bar but sometime in the last 40 years, the telescoping tube bent so it no longer shortens for storage. I decided to keep it for use getting in and out of my hanger (no need to collapse) and put a new one in the airplane for parking at other airports.

Unit was slightly bent. Straightened it up then attempted using it. When pulling the plane out of the hangar and turning it would jump off the lugs. Same when pushing plane in. I think a stronger spring might help.

If you have wheel pants, be prepared to add a small section of tubing where it connects to the nuts on each side or get a tubing bender to spread the fork a little.

NOTE: Does NOT fit Tiger with wheel pants. Otherwise, product looks to be good quality.

It works... mostly is the best I can say for it. Never really fits right. You have to be careful while pushing be cause it might pop off and scratch the wheel pants. It is good for keeping in the back of the plane, but it is not good for regular use.

Very disappointed. The spring is not tight and slips off the studs easily. The handle bent with very little pressure.

This bar is really poorly designed and made. The T handle is really short so you cannot place your entire palm on the bar. It end half way into your palm and then it starts to hurt the inside of your palm. 2 inches longer on each side and it would have been sufficient but thats probably another $0.20 of more material! The length of the T-bar is too short. It should be longer and have a few drilled spots so you can adjust the length of the tow bar to what suites you. I find it too short. The steel of the T-Hhandle is too thin. My bar is bent because the material is too thin. There are way too many deficiencies in design and construction of this tool. I am now building my own so I can have a tow bar that functions, do so without pain, and does not fall apart in my hands. I weigh 125lbs and am 56 so its not me man-handling this thing to death. I am just trying to move my Tiger around... Silly me...
