The CRAZEDpilot Music Adapter Cable connects any 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo music device (iPod, iPhone, MP3 player, CD player, Garmin with XM radio, etc.) directly between the intercom and your GA (dual plug) headset.
This will allow music to be heard only through the individual headset it is connected to rather than through the entire intercom system, yet the intercom system still functions properly and you can continue to talk comfortably to your passengers using their own music cables - anyone with a CRAZEDpilot Music Adapter cable can listen to their own choice of soothing music while en route to your destination.

I read multiple ratings of this product on other websites. Most say it is a bad product. I took a chance and have to agree. This item is pure garbage. You can barely hear anything coming from the audio jack into your head set. We tried multiple headsets. If you want something that works, just splice a line to your headset jack from whatever device you want to play music on and you will get a way better sound.

Yes, this can play audio from an iPad 4 which has a 3.5mm input jack.
