This metal clock measures approximately 14-inches by 14-inches. Designed and made in the United States using 24 gauge American steel and a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting finish.
This clock includes an American clock movement for years of accurate time keeping and is covered with a clear acrylic lens.
Requires 1 AA Battery (Not Included).
I gave it 3 stars because I don't think it is worth $35 bucks. The American Movement, which had me worried when I ordered, is the cheapest plastic clock innards I think you can buy. Probably worth about $2. The image on the clock itself is nice, and the clear acrylic dome over it is nice as well. The clock is wrapped in an aluminum (??) ring to give it depth. It has a sort of riveted seam on the bottom edge. Another con is that you can't see the hands (or tell the time) from anything more than a few feet away. The hands are black and get lost in the image. There are things I like about it. The 14 size is nice for my hangar. It actually seems to keep good time, even in my cold NJ hangar. Overall, I think it looks nice on my hangar wall but I wish I didn't pay as much for it.
