This rivet removal tool allows you to remove those stubborn Pop, Avdel, Cherry-Q, and other blind rivets. The serrated nosepiece fits over any button head, round head, or universal head rivet and locks in place to keep it from spinning as it's being drilled out. It will also remove solid rivets. Includes adapters to remove 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16" rivets. Comes in a custom case. Note: Not for use with steel rivets |

Excellent tool for rivet removal. Good to have the various sizes in a box to keep them together.
Tool works great removes rivet head quick and accurately with out over sizing hole .
I have had great success with mine. Even on the AN470s it keeps me from getting off center as I drill.

I am removing Advel blind rivets on a zodiac wing. After reviewing the video and practicing on some scrap for 15 minutes, I have decided not to use this tool. Although well made, it scars the wing skins because the teeth on the tool (designed to keep the rivet from spinning) instead sit outside the edge of the rivet. Although when set correctly it does remove rivets quickly, despite my best efforts ,it also results in scaring the aluminum outside the rivet boundary. Using a smaller size drill does not work either because the drill is then too small to remove the head. Perhaps it would work with a different blind rivet design. But for my work, carefully drilling off the head and pulling the rivet shank out from below results in significantly less damage to the rivet hole and the surrounding aluminum. Would work great for a non-aviation application.
Dull within minutes. Typically this would be a problem but the drill it’s are formed into one solid threaded piece rather than held in with a set screw. Started a return but Aircraft Spruce said it had to go through the manufacturer. It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard from anyone.
