The AeroSun™ is a wing-mounted LED (Light Emitting Diode) landing light with a built-in wig wag mode in addition to its standard operation as a landing/taxi light. The AeroSun™, constructed of extruded aluminum, is a very intense light source that uses 12 high power LEDs to produce up to 3960 lumens of light using just 36 Watts of power. The product is ideal for installations in aluminum aircraft or composite aircraft where some airflow within the wing cutout exists. Typical installations include aircraft such as RV8,9,10; Zenith, Kitfox and Sonex.
The AeroSun™ is protected against overheating with a built in protection circuit, is protected from lightning transients and ESD, voltage spikes, reverse voltage, and undervoltage conditions.

Only compared it with my 130w halogen as installed in my RV6 outside the aircraft. The halogen is more yellow and more a concentrated spot. The Aeroled is bright blueish LED light, more towards a flood, but VERY bright.
Per the manufacturer, the Aerosun Landing light is one light and you can use the wig-wag feature by hooking up the yellow wire that comes with the light.

The Aerosun landing light features a 4" bare wire lead, but does ship with the Molex connectors and pins necessary for connection. Installation wiring is not included. We recommend ordering this unit with the harness option as it will come pre-wired for plug and play.
When the lights are in the wig-wag mode, the power load is reduced because the lights are on 50% of the time in while in the pulse mode. They could reduce the power consumption by just installing the pulse or wig-wag mode by connecting aircraft power to the yellow wire and not have the landing light mode (red wire) connected.
AeroLEDs recommends a 20 or 22 AWG wire when connecting the blue and green wires.
