I started in aviation at the age of 12, at KFNB Brennar Field. My family farmed and owned a salvage yard. When I was 16 I helped my Dad restore a 7eca Citabria. When I was 18 and graduating High School, my Dad suggested that I go to A&P school, and when I was 19 I had earned my A&P. In later years, I got my IA and Commercial pilot licenses. I have now accumulated almost 4000 hours of flight time.

I have been working for KCSI Aerial Patrol now for three years in Andrews, TX E11 where we fly about 13,000 miles per week at this base. We have 5 Citabrias based here. Probably one of the greatest jobs I've had! I love coming to work everyday. I am the Director of Maintenance for KCSI, TX for the KY, LA, OH, IN, TX bases.

KCSI Aerial Patrol, Inc. is a professional aviation company specializing in surveillance of oil and gas pipeline right-of-ways and production fields. The company was formed in 1994 as Kern Charter Service in the central valley of California. In 2004 KCSI separated from underneath the umbrella of sister company Kern Charter Service as its own company to focus on serving the oil and gas industry. Over the years the company has grown to a fleet of 17 single-engine and one multi-engine fixed wing aircraft. In addition to added aircraft, KCSI has expanded to patrol pipelines and production fields for our customers throughout California, Texas, Louisiana, throughout the Midwest and into parts of Nevada and New Mexico. KCSI currently employs 15 pilots and observers with three full time administrators to accomplish these tasks.

The company's home base is in Bakersfield, California with satellite bases in Northern California, Texas, Louisiana, Ohio and Indiana. The location of these bases offers the best access to large portions of our client's pipeline and production fields.
