SHOCK CORD TOOL
I wouldnt want to try changing Bungees without this tool.
Bought this tool new and used it to install bungee cords on my Star Duster Too SA 300. Took us an hour and a half to clean the threads well enough so the nut that stretches the cord would travel the entire length of the tool. Im sure it would have taken less time if we had a proper thread chaser tool to clean the threads, but it was after hours and all the local stores were closed. Also the end of the threads dont allow the nut to be removed. I must say while it was difficult to use this tool it would have been impossible to do without it. I just wish they would have done a better job on it as the basic design is good. This was with standard bungees not HD.
The basic design is ok, but the tool broke on the second bungee install. The threads on the screw galled and i had to cut the nut off. Its needs some revision. Mainly a better grade of threaded rod and a longer length nut plus a thrust bearing on the screw would help greatly. One more thing would be to break all the sharp corners so that the bungee doesnt get cut during install. Tell wagaero to try harder!!!

Yes, it should work as long as you do not have hydrasorb shock struts on the aircraft.
